The robot arm LBR Med IIwa (which is integrated in ROBERT®) has been honoured with the IERA Award at the International Symposium on Robotics 2018 in Munich.

The International Symposium on Robotics (ISR) is one of the the world’s leading robotics conference and the IERA Award is one of the most important international awards in the medical field. The LBR Med IIwa was described as “an innovation for medical robotics, medical research, and new applications”

The LBR Med IIwa
The LBR Med IIwa from KUKA has seven axes and particularly sensitive sensors that are suitable for human-robot collaboration. The robot component has been tested and certified to international safety and quality standards.

ROBERT® is entirely made of medical approved and high-quality components, why the collaboration with LBR Med IIwa was a perfect match.

Meet ROBERT® at MEDICA 2018 in Hall 14, stand A12, where you can experience the robot – and try it yourself.

Start early mobilization now

Choose ROBERT® – The first step out of bed

Rehabilitation of bedridden patients has a detrimental effect on employees at hospitals and nursing homes and is a huge expense to society. That is why an investment in ROBERT® is beneficial at several levels – enhancement of mobilization reducing inpatient stays, improvement of the healthcare employees’ working environment and reduction of absence from work and employee attrition are some of the advantages of ROBERT®.
