ARUS® is a robotic solution aimed at offering an efficient robot assisted ultrasound for scanning of pregnant women compatible with most ultrasound devices on the market.
This is accomplished by integrating cutting-edge technology, including advanced sensors and remote controllers with precise haptic feedback.
Eliminating strain on sonographers — no need for repetitive movements, sustained force, and awkward postures.
One sonographer workflows — reducing team fatigue and need for additional staff.
Work-related musculoskeletal disorder (WRMSD) is a widespread issue in sonography — affecting over 90% of practitioners, primarily caused by the repetitive use of force, awkward arm and shoulder postures, and extended scanning sessions under physical strain.
When a sonographer is injured this results in a cascading cycle of injury and innefficiency within the department. The economic impact is significant driven by absenteeism, hiring, training and reduced throughput — with fewer scans performed per day.

Enabling one sonographer to easily perform scans on obese patients.
Continuous stability control and full precision during lengthy or complex scans.
Eliminating physical strain during scanning.
Allowing for gentler scanning and increasing patient comfort.
