Focus on the Global Goals

Here at Life Science Robotics, we care about sustainable development and building a better future worldwide. Adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as part of the Agenda 2030, the Sustainable Development Goals are a set of 17 distinct goals with 169 targets and 230 measurable indicators to measure the efforts and development of the state members. Also called Global Goals, the initiative invites everyone to contribute to this development. From individual to collective and corporative efforts, all can take action to make the world a better place.

Through ROBERT®, we strive to offer the healthcare professionals better work conditions and to offer patients a more efficient and complete solution for rehabilitation. Our contribution has a direct impact on the quality of life of both patient and healthcare professional. We highlight Goal 3 and Goal 8 as part of our ambition:

Goal 3: Good health and well-being for people
“Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.” ROBERT® offers a complete solution for rehabilitation of patients of all functional levels. From immobilized patients to patients with mild injuries, the benefits of early mobilization are wide-ranging: avoids muscle loss, increases blood flow, reduces the risk of bed sores, blood clots and infections, improves respiratory and digestive function, among others. With the assistance of ROBERT®, patients can faster return to a previous functional ability state.

Goal 8: Decent work and economic growth
“Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.” ROBERT® provides the healthcare professionals support to intensify rehabilitation training and perform an exceptional treatment. This way, work conditions are improved through minimization of heavy lifts and repetitive movements. The quality of the exercise is assured from the first movement to the last, and the healthcare professionals can make use of their expertise without physical strain.
